Bard. Leonid Sergeev was born on March 30, 1953 in Brest, lived in Kazan, and moved to Moscow where he lives today.  In 1975 he graduated from the University of V.I. Ulyanov-Lenin, with a degree in History and Philosophy. Worked as a journalist, and in radio.   In the 1970s he began composing music.  A recored of his works appeared on the popular label "Melodia" (Melody).   He has composed over 200 songs.
