Poet, bard. Leonid Semakov was born on July 7, 1941 and died on August 8, 1988.  He was born in the village of Slobodischi, in the Vologod region, lived and died in Moscow.  In 1959 completed the Odessa School of the Sea, and in 1964 the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music, and Cinematography.   Worked as an actor all across the Soviet Union.  Began writing songs in 1968.
