Akelkin (Акелькин), Vitali Igoreyevich (1942-)  


Bard and bard archivist.  Akimenko was born on June 29, 1945 in Rostov-on-the-Don.  One of the organizers of the Club of the Tourist Song (KTP in Russian).  Akimenko's first song was composed in 1966, Separation.  Throughout the 1970s Akimenko was awarded several prizes in many festivals.  Plays on a seven string guitar.  He is also known for being a great collector of bard songs and recordings.
