Adamenko (Адаменко), Nikoli Igorevich (1965-)


Bard, poet, artist. Adamenko was born on May 3, 1965 in Harkov, Ukraine.  Throughout his life he lived in Leningrad, Rostov, Vokut, and Pechor. In 1980 Adamenko began writing his songs, including making music to the poetry of Laikin, Talkovsky, Litvinenko. 

He plays on a six string guitar. From 1984 to 1989 was a member of the Red Wind bard club, and the group Ballada. In 1989 Adamenko graduated from the Leningrad War Engineering School, and the Harkov War University in 1999.  In 1991 a book of his poetry appeared, North, and in 1995 was followed by a second book of poetry Notes on a Palm.  

In the late 1990s Adamenko exhibited his watercolors.  In Harkov, where Adamenko currently lives, he is the president of the creative collective January.   He has also organized festivals in Harkov.  In 2001 Adamenko was a diplomat to the Grushin Festival.
