Aksakov (Аксаков), Sergei Timofeyevich (1791-1859)


Writer, memoirist. Wrote much on the family history of the Aksakov’s, was close friends with Gogol.   Throughout the 1850s wrote several books that are still read in Russia today, such as The Family Chronicle and Childhood Years of Grandson Bagrov.
