Ahmatiev (Ахметьев), Ivan Alexeyevich (1950-)

Poet. Author of five books of poetry.  Resorted to samizdat and tamizdat publications during the Soviet Union, and in 1990 his first book of poems appeared from a publication in Munich, Germany.  Has been published in Novy Mir, Friendship of People, and others.  Co-editor of the poetical department of Samizdat of the Century (1998).  The webmaster of the Russian website Un-official Poetry.
