Agapov (Ага́пов), Boris Nikolayevich (1899-1973)


Russian poet and screenwriter. Born on February 19, 1899 in Tiflis, Georgia.  Agapov was a member of the organization The Literary Center of Constructivists.  His poems first appeared in 1924 in the organizations publication.  He was the screenwriter for the popular film The Rise of Stalingrad, which won the Stalin Prize in 1946.
