Adrianov (Адрианов), Sergei Alexandrovich (1871-1942)


Literary critic, publicist, literary historian, translator.  Born in 1871 in Tomsk, graduated from the gymnasium in 1888, that same year moved to St. Petersburg. First started being published in 1890 and continued to be published all the way until the Russian Revolution of 1917, in such journals as Russian Word, Russian Rumor, Russian Will, and Word (of which he was the editor).    After the revolution Adrainov was hardly ever published, and died in Leningrad during the Blockade in 1942.
